Mango Lassi

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped very ripe mango , frozen chopped mango, or canned mango pulp

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla ice cream

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 4 teaspoons honey

  • Dash ground cardamom, optional

  • Ice, optional


Instructions

  1. Pour ingredients to the blender: Put the mango, yogurt, milk, honey, and cardamom into a blender and blend for approximately 2 minutes. If you desire a milkshake-like consistency, serve over ice cubes or vanilla ice cream.

  2. Serve with a dash of cardamom: Pour mixture into a glass and sprinkle with a tiny pinch of ground cardamom. Can also be served with gelatin. The lassi can remain fresh for up to 24 hours if refrigerated.
